THE CITY.
Mrs. Crowley, who has been living with her son, John Crowley, on Broadway, died early in the week. It is claimed with many evidences of the fact that she was over one hundred years old.

**Further Research reveals….this elderly lady was not John Crowley’s mother, but she was his Mother-in-law, who had lived with John & her daughter Ann for years.

Mrs. Anna Pewters was 101 years old when she passed away September 13, 1886, in LeMars, Iowa. She was buried in St. James Catholic cemetery, LeMars, Iowa.
