ORLO H. KEFFELER DIES UNEXPECTEDLY; RITES PLANNED FRIDAY
Funeral services for Orlo H. Keffeler will be at 9:30 Friday morning at St. James Catholic church with Rev. L. J. LaVelle officiating. The burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
Mr. Keffeler died unexpectedly of a heart attack at his home Tuesday afternoon.
The rosary will be recited Thursday at 8 p.m. at the Wiltgen-Luedtke funeral home.
Mr. Keffeler, the son of Joseph and Mathilda (Werner) Keffeler, was born and raised in Remsen. He attended St. Mary school at Remsen and St. John's university, Collegeville, Minn. After his marriage to Roberta Keenan, he made his home in Le Mars. He was a member of St. James Catholic church and Le Mars Elks lodge.
Survivors include his wife; five brothers, Urban of Lohrville, Maurice and Richard of Marcus, Alfred and Clarence of Remsen, and four sisters, Mrs. Art Beyer of St. Louis, Mo., Sister Jane de Chantel of Ossian, Mrs. Omer Schmidt of Minneapolis and Mrs. Claude Hall of Raton, N. M.
