Life’s End

Andrew F. Crowe Dies At Sioux City Nursing Home
Services Friday.

Andrew F. Crowe, 70, retired Merrill farmer who had resided in LeMars since 1943, died Wednesday at the Rest View home, Sioux City, after several months of illness.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. James Catholic church with Rev. L. J. LaVelle officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.

Friends may call at the Wiltgen-Luedtke funeral home after 2 p.m. Thursday until service time. The rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. Thursday.

Mr. Crowe was born Dec. 18, 1887, at Emerson, Neb. His marriage to Anna Fox took place Dec. 4, 1918, at Wayne, Neb. The couple’s home here is located near LeMars in the Wernli addition.

Surviving are his wife; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Pfaffle of LeMars and Mrs. Kathryn Matern of Sioux City, and a brother Ray of Sioux City.

Preceding Mr. Crowe in death were two sons, Robert, who died in France while serving with the army during World War II, and William, in infancy, and two sisters, Nelle and Ann.
