Mrs. Sheeren, the wife of Peter Sheeren. residing north of LeMars. died on Friday of pneumonia. Mrs. Sheeren had been in poor health for several years and when stricken with an attack of pneumonia was unable to make any fight against the disease. She leaves a husband and four children to mourn the death of a loving wife and mother. She was born in Illinois on March 2. 1858. Mr. and Mrs. Sheeren have resided in Plymouth county for the past twenty years. The funeral was held yesterday at St. James church and was largely attended by friends and neighbors.

SUDDEN DEATH OF WOMAN

Mrs. Peter Steeren Sucoumbs to Pneumonia Aller a Twenty-Four Attack.

Mrs. Peter Sheeren residing about two and a half miles northwest of LeMars, died at her home on Friday evening at about eleven o'clock, from a severe attack of pneumonia in about twenty-four hours, after having been seized with the disease. Mrs. Sheeren was about her household dutles as usual on Thursday and late to the day was taken sick and grew rapidly worse almost from the beginning and in the brief period of twenty-four hours passed away. Her many friends were shocked to hear of her death and join the bereaved husband and children in mourning her loss. The funeral was held from St. James church on Monday morning and was conducted by Rev. Father Farrell.

Deceased was a noble christian woman of loving disposition and her death will cause a shadow of sorrow over the community where she is so well known. She was born in Bureau county, Illinois, March 2, 1858. She was united in marriage with Peter Sheeron in Bureau county, Ill., on February 16, 1887, and came with her husband in March of that year to make her home in this oounty, having resided on the same place since coming to this county. Five children were born to this union, and four children with the husband survive her. The children are James, Larre, Josephine and John. She also leaves four brothers and three sisters all of whom reside In Bureau county, Ill. Owing to sickness among members of this one family they are unable to come to the funeral. Patrick and Barney Sheeren, brothers of Peter Sheeren came here from Marous to attend the funeral.
