Laura Bouma

Mrs. Lou (Laura Mae) Bouma, 84, route 5, Le Mars, lifelong Seney area resident, died Sept. 20, 1979, at Plymouth Manor in Le Mars after a .brief illness. She had been at Plymouth
Manor for 14 months.

Laura Perry was born July 29, 1895, in Plymouth County to Soloman and Mary Ann (Buss) Perry. Her marriage to Lou R. Bouma took place on Jan. 23, 1918, in Le Mars.

She was a member of the United Methodist church. She was preceded in death by her husband in February 1959 and by a son, Roy.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Seney United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Willey and Paul Klingbeil officiating. Burial will be in Le Mars Memorial Cemetery under the direction of the Mauer Funeral home in Le Mars. A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Survivors are her son, MelvinBouma, rural Le Mars; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a brother, Frank Perry, Le Mars
