Kathleen G. Junker

Kathleen G. Junker, 65, of Le Mars, died Saturday (June 7, 1986) at Le Mars Floyd Valley Hospital after long illness.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m Tuesday at St James Catholic Church in Le Mars with Rev George McFadden officiating. Burial will be in Le Mars Calvary Cemetery The rosary-alter society of St. James Church recited the rosary at 4 p.m. Monday The parish will recite the rosary at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Luedtke-Feuerstein
Funeral Home.

Mrs Junker, the former Katleen Georgeanna Treinen, was born Oct. 8, 1920, in Alton to Peter and Lucy Greff Treinen She moved to Le Mars as a young girl and attended St. Joseph's School. She was employed at Aalt's Manufacturing Co in Le Mars for 30 years before retiring in March 1983.

She was a member of St James Catholic Church and Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union.

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs Cecil (Pat) Denney of Le Mars; four granddaughters, Mrs James (Susan) Plueger and Mrs Marty (Christy) Weed, both of Le Mars, Mrs Clayton (Laura) Rohmiller and Mrs. Russell (Julie) Schoenherr, both of Merrill; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Vivian) Bortscheller and Mrs. Ray (Allene) Fiedler, both of Le Mars; two brothers, Peter Treinen ofLe Mars, and her twin brother Kenneth Treinen of Remsen. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son in infancy; two sisters, Mrs Lillian Bortscheller, and Mrs Lois Bushee; and two brothers, Clarence Treinen and Ravmond Treinen.
