CECELIA ENGELS IS CALLED BY DEATH.
Passes Away at Home of Daughter, Mrs. C. W. Reeves, on July 4.
Funeral Wednesday.

Cecelia Engels died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C.W. Reeves, July 4. the funeral will be held at St. Joseph’s church, LeMars, Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock. Wiltgen’s have charge of the funeral.

Deceased was born on August 28, 1850 at Canton, Cappelen, Grand Duche, Germany, and in 1886 came to this country, making her home with her brother.

She leaves to mourn her loss, her daughter; one sister, Mrs. Kate Rodesch of Seattle, Wash., and two brothers, Will Engels of Red Cloud, Neb., and Mike Engels of LeMars, also a host of friends and neighbors.

She had a kind and generous disposition and was always thinking of the welfare of others.

Call not back the dear departed,
Anchored safe where storms are o’er,
On the border land we left them,
Soon to meet and part no more.
Far beyond the world of changes
Far beyond the world of care
We shall find our missing loved ones
A precious one from us is gone,
A voice we loved is still,
A place is vacant in our home
Which none can ever fill.
