DONDELINGER, GASPER, REDING, HOFFMANN

Mrs. Emma Dondelinger died at the home of her son-In-law, Mike Gaspar, about four and one-half miles east of Alton, on Tuesday, September 2nd, 1913, of old age, following a sickness of only four days. Deceased was born on Nov. 12th, 1821, at Krach, Germany and she had therefore almost reached the age of 92 years when she passed away. In 1850 deceased came to America, settling in St. Donatus, Iowa. Thirty one years ago she came to Le Mars. She made her home there with her son, Charles D., until his death and then, six years ago, came to Alton and made her home with the Mike Gaspar family. Mrs. Dondelinger was the mother of six children, one of whom, John, of Neptune, Iowa, survives. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren

The funeral. services: were held on Friday, September 15th, from St. Joseph's Catholic church of Le Mars. The services were conducted by Father Feuerstein. Interment was made in St. Joseph's cemetery at Le Mars.

Mrs. Josephine Dondelinger, of Minneapolis, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Leo Reding and Mr. and Mrs. Joe. Reding, of St. Mary, Kansas, and Mr. and Mrs. Math Hoffmann, of Hospers, attended the funeral.
