QUITMAN—Services for Arlene Simmons, 79, Quitman, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home chapel, Quitman, with the Rev. Craig Merkel officiating.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, LeMars, Iowa, under direction of the Feuerstein Funeral Home, LeMars, Iowa.

Mrs. Simmons died Feb. 13, 2006, in Quitman.

She was born Aug. 18, 1926 in Alton, Iowa. She moved to Quitman in 1985 from Lincoln, Neb. She was a Catholic.

Survivors include her husband, Robert H. Simmons, Quitman; daughter, Margaret Matthews, Richardson, TX; brothers, Fred Kaschmitter, White Bear Lake, Minn., Richard Kaschmitter, Richardson, TX, Mike Kaschmitter, Spencer, Iowa, and Lawrence Kaschmitter, Sioux City, Iowa; sisters, Isabelle Langel, Remsen, Iowa, Marilyn Leseman, Roseville, Minn., Evelyn Black and Yvonne DeBoe, both of Hastings, Minn., Susie Strouse, Huxley, Iowa, Carol Day, Arlington, and Jolene Burton, Ames, Iowa; one granddaughter; nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
