MRS. A. F. SCHULTZ DIED WEDNESDAY.
Mrs. A. F. Schultz passed away at her home, 614 4th Avenue, S.E., on Wednesday, January 12, at the age of 71 years, 7 months, and 9 days. Her health had been failing for the past two years.

Philomena Beck was born on May 23, 1877, at Ossian, Winnesheik county, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Beck, and came to LeMars from Webster City in the year 1924. She had resided here ever since.

On August 20th, 1901, she was married to Dr. A. F. Schultz, at Remsen, Iowa.

Surviving are her husband, Dr. A. F. Schultz; four children, Arnold M. of Robbinsdale, Minnesota, Mrs. Katherine Maggrett of LeMars, Roman J. of Avon, N. J., and Mrs. E. J. Garrick of Woodbury, Conn.; also nine grandchildren; and one brother, J. P. Beck of Remsen.

The deceased was a member of the Christian Mother’s Society.

Funeral services will be conducted by Msgr. Fisch on Friday, January 14th, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s church, followed by interment in St. Joseph’s cemetery.

The remains will be at Wiltgen’s Funeral Home until time for the services.
