OLD RESIDENT PASSES AWAY
MRS. ANNA DIDIER CAME TO LE MARS AS BRIDE FIFTY YEARS AGO.

Death claimed Mrs. Anna Didier, a resident of LeMars for the past fifty-two years, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jos. Simeon, in this city, at the age of 73 years, Thursday morning.

Mrs. Didier has been in failing health for a long time.

Anna Manderscheid was born at Cottonville, Iowa, March 2, 1860, and grew to young womanhood in the eastern part of the state. She was united in marriage at Springbrook, Iowa, with Anton Didier February 28, 1880. Shortly after their marriage they came to LeMars and made their home here since. Mr. Didier died about twenty-four years ago.

Mrs. Didier was well known in LeMars especially among the older residents and was esteemed by a large circle of acquaintances. She was a good Christian woman and friendly neighbor. Mrs. Didier was a member of the Woodmen Circle.

She leaves a son, John Didier, of Sioux City, a daughter, Mrs. Jos. Simeon, of this city, and a granddaugher, Elvina Simeon.

The funeral services will be held Saturday morning at St. James church. Rev. Father L. J. Cooper officiating. The pallbearers will be V. U. Schindler, J. P. Eilenbecker, Henry Dambrink, S. Hansen, Ray Huxtable, Herman Becker.
