Mrs. Kaschmitter

Mrs. Richard, Kaschmitter, 68, Le Mars, died Sept. 2, 1974, at her home after a long illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic church with the Rev. Msgr. Dean Walker officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.

The rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. by the Christian Mother's society at 8 p.m. by the parish Tuesday at the Luedtke funeral home.

Mrs. Kaschmitter, the former Mildred M. Gerst, was born June 17, 1906, at Alton.

She was married Feb. 8, 1926, at Alton. The couple lived in the Whittemore area before moving to Le Mars 34 years ago.

Survivors are her husband; eight daughters, Mrs. Robert (Arlene) Simmons, Lincoln; Mrs. William (Isabelle) Langel, Remsen; Mrs. Jack (Marilyn) Leseman, St. Paul; Mrs. Charles (Evelyn) Black, Cherokee; Mrs. Eugene (Bonnie) DeBoe, Columbia, Mo.; Mrs. Richard (Susan) Strouse, Wall Lake. Mrs. Lyn (Carol) Day, Copperas Cove, Tex., and Mrs. Leo (Jolene) Burton, Minneapolis; four sons, Fred, White Bear Lake, Minn.; Dick, Longwood, Fla.; Mike, Spencer, and Larry at home; 43 grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. C. V. Nammayle, Oakland, Calif.
