Mrs. James DalyMrs. James Daly, 61, LeMars, was found dead at her home, Wednesday at the Bowers apartments, 242 2nd St. S.E.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph’s Catholic church at LeMars. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Dean Walker will officiate.
Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. The prayer wake service will be at 8 p.m. Friday at the Luedtke funeral home. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday.
Mrs. Daly, the former Angeline Puetz, was born May 5, 1911, in LeMars. She attended nurses training in Chicago.
She was married to James Daly Oct. 4, 1942, in New York City.
Mrs. Daly practiced as a registered nurse in New York until her husband’s death. She had lived in LeMars the last three years.
She had suffered ill health for several years.
Survivors include three brothers, Vincent Puetz of LeMars, Lawrence Puetz of Portland, Ore., and Donald Puetz of Storm Lake and five sisters, Mrs. Mary Braband of Sioux City, Mrs. George Wolbers of LeMars, Anne Puetz of Portland, Mrs. Josephine Wurth of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Mrs. Russell Molloy of Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and five brothers. Her parents were the late Frank and Mary Reiff Puetz.
