Funeral service will be held at 10 o’clock Tuesday morning at St. Joseph’s Catholic church for Mrs. Frank Puetz, a long time resident of this vicinity who died Saturday evening at 10:45 at her home, 101 Seventh Avenue SE, from a complication of diseases.

Mrs. Puetz, nee Mary Reiff, was born November 30, 1874, at Brown’s Station in eastern Iowa. She lived there with her parents until 1893 when they moved to Early, Iowa, on a farm. On February 8 of that year she was united in marriage with Frank Puetz. The next fifteen years they lived on a farm three miles north of Early and four years in Early, where they were engaged in the hardware business. In 1908 they moved to LeMars on a farm east of town where they lived until two years ago. Since that time they resided at their present address.

Mr. Puetz preceded her in death two weeks ago. At that time Mrs. Puetz was too ill to realize his departure from this life and never rallied from her illness.

Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Frank Kramer, John, William, Vincent, Lawrence, Mrs. Vincent Lewis, Mrs. Geo. Wolbers, Mrs. Leo Braband, Anna, Clementine, Angeline, Mrs. F. M. Wurth, Donald and James. Two sons, Hugo and Arthur, preceded her in death. Four sisters and two brothers also survive her, all of them residing at Early, excepting one brother who lives at Woodstock, Minn.

She was a member of the Christian Mother’s society of St. Joseph’s parish. The members will march in a body at the funeral.
