DEATH OF OLD RESIDENT.
Peter Braun Succumbs to Infirmities of Old Age.

Peter Braun, a resident of LeMars formerly forty years, died at his home on East Sixth street, on Sunday morning. His death was due to failing powers caused by old age. He had been in declining heath for some time.

Peter Braun was a native of Germany where he was born on February 4, 1844. He came to America when a young man and settled in LeMars about thirty-eight years ago and lived here since. He was a hard working and industrious man and a good citizen. He is survived by his wife and three daughters who are: Mrs. Jesse Rounds, and Mrs. Theo. Schmidt and Mrs. Michael Schmidt of Sioux City.

The funeral will be held this morning at St. Joseph church of which he was a member.
