Mrs. Henry (Caroline) Howe.

Mrs. Henry Howe, 79 of Lincoln Township, Plymouth County, died Thursday (Dec. 31, 1981)
in a Sioux City nursing home.

Services were at 2 p.m., Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lincoln Township, rural Hinton.
Rev. Jerome Hahn officiated.

Burial was in the parish cemetary under direction of the Mauer Funeral Home, Le Mars.

Mrs. Howe, the former Caroline Ida Muecke, was
born Sep. 4, 1902, in Lincoln Township to Julius
and Marie (Ideker) Muecke. She married Henry
Christian Howe, Jan. 29, 1924, in Lincoln Township. Mr. Howe died in April, 1981.

Mrs. Howe was a member of the Trinity Lutheran
church and the Ladies Aide Society of the Trinity
Lutheran church.

Survivors are two sons, Alvin of rural Hinton
and Mervin of Hotchkiss, Colo.; one daughter, Mrs.
Virgil (Bonnie) Frerichs of Hinton; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one
brother, Harvey Muecke of San Juan, Texas.
