Mrs. Sam Harvey

Mrs. Sam Harvey, 94, of Le Mars died Monday in a hospital at Le Mars.

Services were held at 11 a.m. this Thursday in the Mauer Funeral Home in Le Mars. The Rev. Dale Stone officiated. Burial was in the Le Mars Memorial Cemetary.

Mrs. Harvey, the former Christena Keller, was born Nov. 5, 1887, at Tripp, S.D. She lived in South Dakota, North Dakota and California.

She married Sam Harvey, April 20, 1922, in Epswich, S. D. They came to Le Mars area in 1930.

Survivors include her husband; one son, John of
Worthington, Minn.; two daughters, Mrs. Guy (Josephine) Harvey of Independence, Ore. and Mrs.
Ben (Dorothy) Herbst of Merrill; two sisters, Mrs.
Lean Bender of Tripp, S.D. and Mrs. Ida Nichelson of Highmore, S.D.; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
