Mrs. Barbara Salentini Was Resident Here 63 Years.
Rites Friday.

Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Salentini, 81, longtime LeMars resident who died Tuesday, April 26, at Sacred Heart hospital after a two week illness were at 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph’s Catholic church.

Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. D. Fisch officiated and burial was in Calvary cemetery under the direction of the Wiltgen-Luedtke funeral home.

Mrs. Salentini was born Aug. 17, 1873, at Lieler, Wis. She came to LeMars in 1892, and was married to John Salentini here in 1912.

She was a member of the Christian Mother’s Society, the Third Order of St. Francis and the Catholic Daughters of America.

Survivors include two brothers, Andrew Kunkel and Joseph A. Kunkel, both of LeMars.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John, two brothers and two sisters.
