Mrs. W.C. Lane, sister of F. Barrow, died yesterday morning, aged about forty years. The body was taken to Dyersville for interment this afternoon.
Mrs. Lane came to Le Mars about six months ago, her husband intending to engage in business in the spring. She with her children was occupying the Lovelace house on Eagle Street. About 2 weeks since a babe was born to Mrs. Lane, and she died from disease incident to this birth.
Although comparatively a stranger in Le Mars, Mrs. Lane had made a number of acquaintances, all of whom speak highly of her gentle, lady-like character.
She leaves four young children to mourn the loss of a mother's love and care.
