Final Rites Held For H. C. Cameron
Well Known Farmer In Union Township

Harry C. Cameron was born June 2, 1883, in Graham, Missouri. He was the fourth child of James and Elizabeth Cameron. At the age of 13, he was left an orphan by the death of his mother. His father was taken by death when he was seven years old. He was then reared by an aunt and uncle.

In November 1907, he came to Plymouth County, where he has made his home ever since. He began farming for himself thirty years ago. For the last seventeen years, he farmed in Union township.

He was united in marriage to Mae McCoun, April 6, 1912. Six children were born to them, all of whom are living.

Mr. Cameron enjoyed good health until January 9 of this year when he began to suffer a heart ailment. He died unexpectedly at his home of a heart attack Thursday, February 27.

He is survived by his wife and six children: Donald, Le Mars; Mrs. C. S. Scioneaux of Santa Monica, Calif.; Wayne, John, Joan, and Joyce, all at home and one grandchild, Karen Cameron. He is also survived by two sisters and one brother; Mrs. John Haley and Mrs. Leonard Simth, both of St. Joseph, Mo., one brother, Fred, of Roscoe, Calif.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

The funeral services were held Sunday at the Union township Presbyterian church and were attended by a large number of neighbors and friends by whom the deceased was held in high esteem as a good citizen and neighbor.
