June 19, 1944MRS. J. SIEBENS DIES SUDDENLY
Mrs. John Siebens died suddenly at her home Sunday morning, June 18, of a heart attack. The funeral will be at Brunsville at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Flentje conducting the service. Burial will be in the LeMars city cemetery. The day and hour of the funeral have not been set, pending the arrival of a daughter from Olympia, Wash.Lena Reiken was born October 16, 1897, in Grant township, where she lived. On January 27, 1920, she was united in marriage to John Siebens where she has since resided. At the time of her death she was 46 years, eight months and eight days of age.
Besides her husband, John, she is survived by the following children: Mrs. Joe Krogman, Olympia, Wash.; John, jr., Marlis, Orville, all at home; her mother, Mrs. Henry Reiken of Brunsville, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Wm. Bruns, Mrs. Jessie McHale, of Brunsville; Mrs. Jack Bowman, Correctionville; Mrs. H. Bowman, Sioux City; and Wm. Reiken, of Brunsville.
She was preceded in death by her father.
