FRED LIVERMORE, 66. DIES AT HOSPITAL AFTER LONG ILLNESS

Fred Livermore, 66, resided at 41 Fifth Ave. SE, died at Floyd Valley hospital Wednesday after an illness of five years. He had been hospitalized five days

Mr. Livermore was born June 25, 1900, in Raritan, Illinois. He was a retired lumber yard manager. He had been a trucker at Burnsville before moving to Le Mars. He was employed at the Lampert Lumber Co. here for five years before moving to Woodstock, Minn., to operate a lumberyard for 13 years. He returned to Le Mars in 1962 and had resided here since

His marriage to Mary L Kleihauer took place on Dec. 27. 1927. at Elk Point. His parents were the late William R. and Mary Jane (Walden) Livermore.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. John United Church of Christ. Burial will be in Le Mars Memorial Cemetery under the direction of the Mauer funeral home Rev James D. Ranson will officiate. The prayer service will be at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Survivors are his wife, Mary, Le Mars; two sons, Orville H., Le Mars, and Ronald L., Sioux Falls: a daughter, Mrs. Don (Mary Lou) Kettler, Alexandria, Va.; 13 grandchildren; a brother, Leonard of Raritan, 111.; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Downs. Winter Haven, Florida, and Mrs. Mary Inez, Clinton and two half-brothers, Parks Livermore of West Hyattsville, Md. and Charles Livermore of California.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
