Note: Her mother's maiden name was Strand.

Mr. and Mrs. Ira Hoffman, who live about four miles northwest of town, in Union county, S. D., mourn the loss of their 11 month-old daughter, Dorothy Cordella, who passed away Tuesday morning, July 20, 1926. The baby had been somewhat ill from teething during the extremely hot weather, but her condition was not thought to be at all serious the night before.

In the morning it was found by the grief-stricken parents that their babe had gone into that sleep which knows no awakening.

The sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of many friends in this bereavement.

Funeral services were conducted at the family home Wednesday afternoon by Rev. E. C. Davis of the local Christian church. A large number of neighbors and friends accompanied the remains to Riverside cemetery, where interment was made.
