Nancy Carol Woodland Reoh, 61, Akron, Iowa, died Saturday, January 30, 1999, in Tucson, Arizona.
Services were held Friday, February 5, 1999, at Wesley United Methodist Church, Akron, with Pastor Marion Sindt officiating. Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery in Akron. Schroeder Funeral Home, Akron, was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Ray Weenink, Bob Mills, Gene Brannan, Erv Ommen, Gene Kadinger, and Daryl Siebens.
Oranganist was Carol Harris.
Mrs. Reoh was born September 17, 1937, in Clark, S.D., the daughter of Esten and Violet (Iverson) Woodland.
She married Rodney L. Reoh on March 24, 1957, in Clark, S. D. They lived in Griffith, IN, for 15 years where she was an executive secretary.
In June of 1970, they purchased the Ford dealer ship in Akron, IA and operated it for 17 years. Following the dealership, Nancy was managing editor and business manager for "Quick'n Easy Cookin" magazine which was published in Davis, S. D. She wrote many articles and devotional pages.
Mrs. Reoh was a very active in the Wesley United Methodist Church, serving as choir director of the Jr. and Sr. choir for 15 years. She also served as UMW President, worship chairman, and represented the church at many conferences.
Upon retirement, they enjoyed traveling throughout the United States in their motor home. Mr. and Mrs. Reoh celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary in 1997.
Survivors include her husband, Rodney of Akron; one son, Lee of Phoenix, AZ; two sisters and their husbands, Barbara and Floyd Clausen of Crescent City, CA and Candace and Tim Simonson of Kenosh, WI.
Mrs. Reoh was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, James and Robert.
