Peter Glerum, 88, an Akron resident the past few years died Sunday at a LeMars hospital.

Born at Hemeleinge, Lar. Netherlands, June 21, 1874, he came to Ireton, Ia. at the age of eighteen. He worked on farms near there and was also employed by Ervin Klemme for eighteen years.

There are no known survivors, Funeral services were held here Tuesday at the Lewison Funeral Home, Rev. D. J. Roy officiating. Burial was in Riverside cemetery.
