ALBRIGHT: Died at his home in LeMars Sunday morning, May 10th, [1891] after a
protracted illness, Samuel Albright in the sixty-first year of his age.

Deceased was a highly respected citizen of LeMars. He was born in
Virginia in October, 1830, where he lived at Grafton until he came to
LeMars in 1882. He constructed the gas works here in LeMars and
operated them until his death. Since last November he has been closely
confined by sickness. Mr. Albright had been a member of the Masonic
fraternity and also of the Methodist church for thirty-eight years. The
funeral services were conducted Monday by Giblem Lodge A. F. and A. M.
of LeMars, at the house. Rev. J. W. Walker and the choir of the M.E.
church assisting. The remains were taken to the old home in West
Virginia for interment accompanied by the wife, who alone survives him,
and relatives.

NEWS FROM LE MARS.

Samuel Albright, Supt. of the Gas Works, passed from our midst last Sunday morning. The Masons had charge of the funeral and his remains were shipped back to Grafta, West Virginia, Monday evening.
