James Dolan, 90, Merrill Resident, Buried Saturday

James Dolan, who came to this county as a young man with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Dolan, from Wisconsin, died Thursday at Merrill after a brief illness.

Mr. Dolan was born March 3, 1859, at New Haven, Conn., and worked as a laborer until advancing years caused his retirement.

Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Saturday in the church of the Assumption in Merrill, with Father Zemo Reising officiating and burial was in St. Joseph’s cemetery, Ellendale.

The body was at Wiltgen’s Funeral Home until the hour of the services.
