Early Resident Taken By Death

Mrs. Charles Wagner Well Known In Le Mars

Mrs. Mary Wagner, 77, a pioneer of Remsen, died Tuesday night in a Sioux City hospital following an operation.

She was a member of St. Mary’s church, Remsen, Catholic Daughters of America and the American Legion auxiliary at Remsen.

Survivors include the husband, Charles B. Wagner; a son, Leo, and three daughters, Miss Marie Wagner, Mrs. Ted Gengler and Mrs. Ottmar Huewe, all of Remsen.

Mrs. Wagner lived in Le Mars when a girl and was married here.

Funeral services will be held at St. Mary’s church in Remsen this Friday morning.
