Harry Bonnema was called to Chicago by the sudden death of his father, Henry Bonnema, Sr., of 10537 LaSalle Street on Monday night.

The deceased was born in The Netherlands May 16, 1863, and was 85 years old at the time of his death. He spent many years farming the Craig and Ireton vicinities and later moved to Chicago where he resided for the past 19 years. He was a faithful member of the First Christian Reformed Church of Roseland.
Funeral Services were held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon, January 13 from the Ott Funeral Home with Rev. Marinus Arnoys officiating.

He was preceded in death by his former wife (Geertruida Postma)and two daughters and leaves to mourn his passing his present wife, Effie (VanDyke) and three sons, Jerry and Henry of Chicago, Harry of LeMars; also four stepsons, Richard, Walter, Gerald and John Wesselius; one step-daughter, Sylvia Seigers; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; one brother John of Prinsberg, Minnesota and Jerry of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
