Former Sioux Farmer Dies

Funeral services for Jerry Bonnema, 74, who died at the Pine Rest hospital at Grand Rapids, Mich., December 16, were held Thursday, December 18, at South Holland, Illinois. Rev. Sibert Kramer officiated with burial at Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. Bonnema was born in Sioux Center October 26, 1884. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bonnema who farmed in Sioux and Plymouth counties. Mr. Bonnema never married. He moved to Chicago several years ago.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers. Survivors include the step-mother, Effie Bonnema, Holland Home, Roseland, two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Amy Bonnema of South Holland, Ill., and Mrs. Dora Bonnema of Le Mars.
