Dagmar Heeren

Dagmar Heeren, 74, of Herman, Neb., former longtime Grant township resident, died unexpectedly Sunday (Feb. 2, 1986) at Clarkson hospital, Omaha.

Services were held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at First Lutheran church in Blair, Nebraska. The Rev. Carl F. Schattaurer officiated. Burial was in the Herman cemetery under the direction of the Campbell funeral home in Blair.

The former Dagmar Jensen, she was born March 22, 1911, at Herman to Hans and Sidsel Rasmussen Jensen. She was preceded in death in 1943 by her first husband, Gustave Frahm. She married Harm F. Heeren, Dec. 19, 1947 at Orange City. The couple farmed in Grant township He died in 1965.

Survivors include her son, John Frahm, Herman, Neb.; two daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Helen) Hitzemann of Akron and Mrs. David (Ramona) Ludwigs of Le Mars; two granddaughters, Sheila and Brenda Ludwigs; and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Kuhr of Blair.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
