Note: His first wife's maiden name was Peters. They were married in 1917. His 2nd wife Dagmar was actually married using her 1st married name Frahm. She was a widow. They were married in Orange City.

Life's End

HARM F. HEEREN OF RURAL LE MARS DIES AT HOSPITAL

Funeral services for Harm F. Heeren, 68, rural Le Mars, retired farmer who died Saturday at Sacred Heart hospital, Le Mars, will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, at the Christ Lutheran church in Grant township near here.

Rev. D. D. Meuller will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery under ditection of the Mauer funeral home. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Heeren was born July 19, 1896, near Le Mars. He married Dagmar Jensen on Dec, 19, 1946 (actually 1947), at Orange City. His parents were the late Mina (actually Anna) Johnson Heeren and William H. Heeren.

Survivors are the widow; two sons. Harlan of rural Le Mars and Wallace of rural Kingsley; two daughters, Mrs. Marvin Hitzemann of Akron and Ramona Heeren, at home; a step-son, John Frahm of Le Mars; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Baach of Howard, S.D.; and Mrs. William Gorath of Canova, S.D.; and two brothers, Herman and Albert both of rural Le Mars.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Emma, in 1938; two brothers, John and William; and two sisters, Katherine Wilken and Minnie Onken.

He was a member of Christ Lutheran church, Grant township.
