Obituary

Mrs. Henry Baack

Funeral services were held June 13 for Mrs. Henry Baack, 91, at St. John Lutheran church, Howard, S. D.

Mary Baack was born Sept. 6, 1881, the daughter of the late Katherine and William Heeren.

Death came June 10 at the Howard nursing home where she had resided the last year and half.

Survivors are a son Bill in Idaho and daughters Mrs. Reika Loe and Mrs. Anna Sorheim both of Howard and Mrs. Minnie Pierce of St. Paul. Also 12 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Meta Gorath of Conova, S.D. and one brother, Albert Heeren of Le Mars.

Interment was at St. John cemetery in Howard.

Attending the services from Le Mars were Albert Heeren, Mrs. Albert Boysen and Carol, Mrs. Clarence Plueger, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Heeren, Mrs. Harlan Heeren, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Klemme, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Klemme, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Klemme, Henry Ahrendt, Mrs. Fred Otto, Mrs. C.H. Renken, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Heeren and Mrs. Olivia Baack.
