Ida, wife of Wm. Remer, of this city died at Dr. Skile’s Sanitarium Hospital, Chicago Ill., Saturday June 1, at 7 a.m., after a continued illness lasting for nearly three years. As a last resort and with little hope of a cure being affected, she was sent to the Hospital, during the latter part of May, and had only been there about a week when death came.

Ida Gralapp was born in Fond du Lac county Wisconsin in 1861 being 33 year and six months old at the time of death. She came to Le Mars in 1885 and three years later was married to Wm. Remer. They have lived since that time in America township, one half mile south of Driving Park. She was the mother of four children, the oldest of whom is six years of age.

The remains were brought to LeMars yesterday morning at 6:15 and interred from the German M. E. Church at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. Rev. Dulitz officiating.
