Theodore “Ted” Nussbaum, 75, of LeMars, died Sunday at his home after suffering an apparent heart attack.
Services were at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. James Catholic Church with Rev. George McFadden officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Struble.
Mr. Nussbaum was born Dec. 29, 1902, near LeMars and was a self-employed mechanic and operated a garage in LeMars until his retirement.
He married Julia Curtis in LeMars on Feb. 7, 1927.
Survivors include the widow; three daughters, Mrs. Henry (Mildred) Ahlers of LeMars, Mrs. William (Jean) Zemanek of West Des Moines, and Mrs. Paul (Laurita) McCoy of Calimesa, Calif.; 20 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Conrad, George and Glenn, all of LeMars.
