Mrs. Dolores Erickson

Mrs. Dolores Erickson, 72, Henderson, Colo., died unexpectedly Sunday (March 14, 1982) in a Brington, Colo. hospital after a brief illness.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran church in Akron. Rev. Julian Swanson will officiate. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Schroeder funeral home in Akron. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery in Akron.

Paulbearers were: Jerry Johnson, Arden Boetger, Donald Boeter, Orville Lorensen, Cecil Horton, and Gene Waag.

Dolores Hanson, was born November 22, 1909, at Westfield, Iowa, to Leon and Cora Hanson. She married Alvin Erickson, February 24, 1928, in Elk Point. The couple farmed in Plymouth and Woodbury counties until moving to Denver, Colo., in 1952. Mr. Erickson died April 19, 1954 in Denver. Mrs. Erickson returned to Iowa in 1954, moving back to Colorado in 1965.

Mrs. Erickson was a member of Immanuel Lutheran church, Akron.

Survivors include: three daughters, Mrs. C. Fred (Marie) Larson, Alcester, S.D., Gertrude Schuette Forbes, Mrs. Bill (Frances) Miller; and two sons, Arnold, Henderson, Colo., and Donald, Darlington, S.C.; one brother, Freeman Hanson, Apache Junction, Ariz.; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Alvin.
