EILERT GEORGE BORCHERS
AKRON, Ia. – Special: Funeral services for Eilert George Borchers, 57, who spent more than half his life in the Akron-Chatsworth community, and who died here Sunday at a hospital after a brief illness, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Lewison funeral home. Rev. Luther Meyer will officiate. Burial will be in the Riverside cemetery.
Mr. Borchers was born June 1, 1896, in Sioux county, Ia. He spent 22 years at Newkirk, Okla.
Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Marie Ludwig (Ludwigs) of Chatsworth, and Mrs. Heline Ludwig (Ludwigs) and Mrs. Etta Minors (Meiners), both of LeMars, Ia.; and two brothers, Henry of Hawarden, Ia., and Herman J. of Arkansas City, Kan.

Eilert George Borchers, 57, who spent more than half his life in the Akron-Chatsworth community, passed away Sunday, January 3, 1954, at Akron Community Hospital, after a brief illness.
Mr. Borchers was born June 1, 1896, in Sioux county, Iowa. He spent 22 years at Newkirk, Okla.
Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Marie Ludwig (Ludwigs), of Chatsworth, and Mrs. Heline Ludwig (Ludwigs) and Etta Minors (Meiners), both of LeMars, Iowa; and two brothers, Henry of Hawarden, and Herman J., of Arkansas City, Kan.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m., at the Lewison Funeral Home, Rev. Luther A. Meyers officiating. Mrs. Clara Meyer and Mrs. Luther Meyer sang with Miss Marie Dergen as accompanist. Pallbearers were Clarence Ludwigs, Gerd H. Ludwigs, Hilbert Ludwigs, John Ludwigs, George Ludwigs and Gerd Ludwigs. Burial was in Riverside cemetery.
