MRS. ANDERSON BURIED TUESDAY

This community was grieved Sunday afternoon to learn of the death of Mrs. Oscar Anderson who died at her home near Hinton. Mrs. Anderson had bee in ill health for some time but her sudden death came as a shock to her many friends.

Agda Pearson was born in Sweden, February 17, 1884, and was 50 years of age at the time of her death. She immigrated to the United States in 1906, going to Chicago, and four years later she was united in marriage with Oscar Anderson, and soon afterwards they came to Plymouth county, Iowa, and located on their farm a short distance southwest of Hinton.

She matured to womanhood, and was brought up in the Lutheran faith in her native country. In 1929 she united with the Methodist church at Hinton.

Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Eleanor, at home and one son, Raymond, a student at Iowa State College, Ames, Ia.; two brothers and two sisters in the United States and one brother and three sisters in Sweden.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock in the Methodist church at Hinton, Rev. W.E. Ellison, the pastor, officiating. Burial was made in Graceland Park Cemetery at Sioux City, under the direction of Claire Levins.

The bereaved family have the heartfelt sympathy of a host of friends.
