PERRY TWP. MAN DIES FOLLOWING SHORT ILLNESS
Death last Saturday claimed Henry Anderson, an old time resident of Perry township. Mr. Anderson was born in Sweden, March 17, 1866, and lived there until 1883 when he came to the United States and settled at Creston, Iowa, where he lived until he moved to a farm in Perry township.

Following is an item taken from the Perry Center news which gives the account of the funeral and burial services and the names of survivors:

Funeral services for Henry A. Anderson, 64 years old, who died in the Methodist hospital in Sioux City, Saturday, after a short illness, were Monday afternoon at two o’clock at the Grace Reformed church. Rev. L.H. Ludwig officiating. Interment was in Liberty township cemetery. Mr. Anderson had resided here on his farm for many years. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Edith Brown of Sioux City, Judith and Pauline Anderson, and three sons, Wallace, Charles, And Alfred at home. The pall bearers were: Carl Anderson, of New Castle, Nebraska; Charles, Albert and Edward Asplund; Andrew Johnson of Sioux City; and Gust Swanson of Liberty township.
