Tuesday, Jan. 15, 1929LEEDS RESIDENT 53 YEARS DIES.
Nicholas Cavanaugh Succumbs to Brief Illness.
A lifelong resident of Woodbury county, Nicholas Cavanaugh, 53 years old, died in his home near Leeds, Monday afternoon following a brief illness.Mr. Cavanaugh attended the public schools of Woodbury county. He was active in civic and social affairs of Leeds. He was a member of St. Michael’s church.
Surviving him are: a brother, Edward, of Leeds; three sisters, Mrs. Alex Beaulieu of Hinton, Ia.; Mrs. Charles Cole, of O’Neill, Neb.; and Mrs. John Finnigan, of Fairmont, Minn.
The body is at Larkin’s funeral home pending funeral arrangements.

Wednesday, Jan. 16, 1929CAVANAUGH—Funeral services for Nicholas Cavanaugh, a resident of Leeds for the past 53 years, who died at his home following a brief illness, will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic church at Leeds Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock with Rev. A. J. Lynott officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Larkin’s funeral home.

Mrs. A. Beaulieu, received the sad news of the death of her father (sic- her brother), Nicholas Cavanaugh, at his home in Leeds Monday afternoon.
