Charlotte Will
Charlotte Will, 98, of Beloit, Wisconsin, and former Pierson area resident, died Wednesday, February 17, 1993, at Caravilla Nursing Home in Beloit after a brief' illness.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 20, 1993, at Salem Lutheran Church, rural Correctionville. Rev. Marvin Mueller officiated and burial was in the Kingsley Cemetery under the direction of the Dickison-Michaelson Funeral Home. Mrs. Patsy Herbold was the organist and the congregation sang; "Nearer "My God To Thee', ''Beautiful Savior" and ''Children Of The Heavenly Father." Serving as casket bearers were Lee Anfinson, Louis Reinking, Wayne Rieckmann, Marvin Grabe, Dennis Reinking, and Paul Hinkhouse.
Mrs. Will, the former Charlotte Toedt, was born Sept. 17, 1894, in Remsen, the daughter of Henry and Augusta (Kay) Toedt. She was an accomplished seamstress. She married Otto Will March 4, 1921, in Sioux City. The couple farmed in the Pierson area for many years. Mr. Will died in 1946. She moved from Pierson to the nursing home in Beloit nine- and one-half years ago. Mrs. Will was a confirmed member and former Sunday School teacher at Salem Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Janice and her husband, Dean Anderson of Beloit, Wisconsin; a grandson, Scott Anderson of Boulder, Colo.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Carl; two sisters, Rosa Riemenschneider and Meta Christophersen, a niece and a nephew. Memorials may be given in her name to the Salem Lutheran Church Ramp Fund or American Diabetes Association.
