MRS. N. ROBERTSON CALLED BY DEATH
Rites Held Monday Afternoon For Former Akron ResidentMrs. Neil Robertson of Hinton, Ia., a former well known and esteemed resident of Akron passed away Thursday, November 15, 1945, in a Sioux City hospital, after an extended illness, at the age of 73 years,
Mrs. Robertson was born at Alda, Nebraska, in 1872, and had lived in Plymouth county since she was six years of age. After her Marriage to Neil Robertson, they lived in Akron for number of years taking a prominent part in the religious, social and business life of the community, Mr. Robertson serving as county supervisor from the Fifth district for several years. Mrs. Robertson was a member of the Methodist church and Vesper chapter, Eastern Star, of Akron.
Left to mourn her departure are her husband, Neil, of Hinton, Iowa; two daughters, Mrs. J. W. Frerichs of Santa Monica, Calif., and Mrs. R. Barringer, of Hinton; two sons, Chester, of Seattle, Wash., and Ronald, of San Antonia, Texas, and seven grandchildren. The family has widespread sympathy in the loss of this kind and devoted wife and mother.
Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30 p. m., in a Sioux City funeral home, conducted by Rev. M. E. Graber, of Morningside college, and at 3:30 p. m. at Plymouth Presbyterian church in this county, Rev, Theo. C. Seibert, the pastor, officiating.
