Victor Taylor

Victor E. Taylor, 78, Akron, died June 28 at his residence.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. July 1 at the Plymouth Presbyterian church in rural Akron. The Rev. Charles Kruse officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of the Mauer Funeral Home of Le Mars.
Mr. Taylor was born Aug. 4, 1896, in Akron. He married Dena Mieras June 2, 1928, in Le Mars.
He was a retired livestock feeder and trucker.
He was a member of the Plymouth Presbyterian Church, where he served 40 years as an elder, and was a member of the Men’s Brotherhood. He also was a member of the Farm Bureau.
Survivors include the widow; two sons, Ralph of Akron and Robert of Cheyenne, Wyo., four grand-daughters and a great-grandson.
