Obituary

Floyd McKettrick

Floyd Hector McKettrick, 74, lifetime Plymouth county resident, died unexpectedly Tuesday (Aug. 20, 1974) at his home after suffering an apparent heart attack.

He lived at 535 9th Ave. SW, Le Mars, and was a retired farmer.

Mr. McKettrick was born Sept. 1, 1899, in Plymouth county and had lived in Le Mars the last 40 years. He was the son of the late William and Catherine Brown McKettrick. He was never married.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Mauer funeral home in LeMars under direction of the Mauer funeral home. Rev. Ralph Nelson will officiate and burial will be in Le Mars Memorial cemetery.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Roy (Anna) Rounds Le Mars.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother John in January, 1971.
