Anna Marie Rounds, 87, lifelong Le Mars resident, died Thursday (Aug. 9, 1984) at Plymouth Manor Care Center after a long illness.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home, Le Mars, with Rev. Leonard Root officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery, Le Mars.

Mrs. Rounds was born July 31, 1897, to William and Elizabeth (Brown) McKettrick. She married LeRoy Rounds Feb. 15, 1921, at Sioux City. She was a teacher and farmed with her husband. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors are a son Alfred of Englewood, Colo.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1979 and two brothers, John and Floyd.
