Miss LaBelle McKettrick Was Invalid for Many Years

Miss LaBelle McKettrick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. McKettrick, of this city died at a hospital in Cherokee on Sunday afternoon. The immediate cause of death was pneumonia.

LaBelle McKettrick was born in LeMars on June 14, 1901. When about eighteen months old, she was stricken with a serious illness the effects of which remained with her all her life though at times she was better and able to attend school.

Of late years her condition became worse and death came as a relief to her sufferings.

She leaves to mourn her death her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thos. McKettrick, and four brothers and three sisters who are James, Thomas, William, Hannah, Charles and Charlene, twins and Celestia.

The remains were brought to LeMars from Cherokee on Sunday evening. The funeral will be held on Wednesday afternoon at the residence of Franklin street, Rev. J. J. Vollmar officiating.
