Myrtle M. Kale of Merrill passed away at Sioux City hospital, Sioux City, on Monday evening at 9:45.

Miss Kale was the only daughter to Mr. and Mrs. George Kale of Merrill and was born Jan. 26, 1892, in Merrill, Iowa, and was at the time of her death, 29 years and 1 day of age.

She was taken, suddenly ill on Friday with pneumonia and her condition became such that she was taken to the hospital on Friday morning. Where she died the following evening.

Miss Kale grew to womanhood in Merrill but received her education in the St. Joseph school. LeMars.

She leaves to mourn her untimely death, her parents, three brothers, Clarence and John, at home, and Charles, who Is stationed with the United States troops In Honolulu.

Funeral services were held at the St. Joseph church this morning conducted by Father Hicky of Merrill. Interment was at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
