Note: Her mother’s maiden name was Eden and her birthday is April 4, 1897. She was born in Plymouth County, Iowa.

Marie H. Buchholz, 96, of Phoenix, a homemaker, died Nov. 19, 1993.

She was born in Iowa.

Survivors include her daughters, Esther Nathe and Leona Swenson; son, Herman; sister, Catherine Harms; brother, Henry H. Beitelspacher; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Services: 1 p.m. Monday, Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery, 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale, with visitation an hour before services.
