DIED

EASTON—In Akron, Iowa, on Sunday evening, May 13, 1900, Sarah, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Easton; aged 12 years and 4 months, of heart trouble.

Deceased had been seriously ill for several weeks, and all hope for her recovery was abandoned a number of days before her death. She suffered a severe attack of the grip last winter, from when an affection of the heart ensued and resulted fatally.

Sarah was an unusually bright and pleasant little girl and her parents have much sympathy in the loss of their loved one. Her death also caused much regret and sadness among her school classmates.

The funeral was held in the Baptist church at four o’clock Monday afternoon, Rev. Geo. Jones preaching the sermon. Interment was made in the Akron cemetery.
