Former Akron Resident Dies

Hendrick E. Easton, who formerly lived in Akron with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Baldwin passed away Sunday at their home in Sioux City, after a lingering illness, aged 80 years and 4 months.

Mr. Easton was born in Michigan, November 20, 1853. For about forty years he was a resident of Allen, Neb., and had lived to Sioux City for about five months. His wife preceded him in death fifteen years ago.

He is survived by three daughters; Mrs. George Malcom and Mrs. Albert Johnson, of Allen, Neb., and Mrs. Walter Baldwin, of Sioux City; also by seven grandchildren.

Mr. Easton was member of the Akron M. E. church, where funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 1 o’clock. Interment was in Riverside cemetery.
